Two months ago I'd have told you to jog on, but Ash has totally won me over. We've been playing some decent football of late, and most importantly getting the results to match. He's attracted some decent players to the club (including, but not limited to, Coutts, Walker, Llewellyn and Brice), and as Fred says, these guys want to play for Ash. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

Well through reading the write up on the echo site today with some quotes from last nights result...

How can they NOT give this man the job permenently???

Seriously he's done a fantastic job in transforming what was a poor team up until january. Its a pleasure to watch dorchester town at the moment and i havnt felt like that for a long time. He's building a team that want to play for him, the club and each other and you could see from ALL the players reactions at the final whistle how much the win meant to them.
Come on Shaun, you know it makes sense!

Right, looking at how things are going I personally would really like to see Ash get the job on a permanent basis. For me, he has well and truly earned his position and I would be very optimistic about our club under his stewardship. So, in the spirit of forum knows bestest rules, i thought those of us who feel the same could maybe add their support to show our very good chairman exactly what we think. Of course, I am aware of certain legal issues forcing shauns hand but hey, whats the problem with a positive thread about a positive situation!

I would say after last night that even Matt wont be wearing his number 10 shirt for a while ? I hear you took some cause from the lad who Groover elbowed in the face too. Calling you a fat Neville Southall was a little harsh i only wish i had been their to hear it for myself

When I heard about this I thought it was a great idea, aside from a huge fundamental flaw. Where are all the shirts going to come from? Whats the point of raising a moderate amount of cash only to have to spend �35+ on a replica shirt that will be worn once?

Sad to say but rumour has it that not all the players got paid. U only have to read their site to see that most did not get paid before Xmas and that carried on when rolls took it over. Even backroom staff that have been loyal like Tim Davies have missed quite a few pay days!
I know that wages are very important but as you can see most players end up playing where they are happy and are valued. The journeymen players are useful but not at the club for the long haul. We now have players that have shown that they want be be at Dorchester FC.

That should be fine i would imagine, My birthday aswell so could be a very good day, we haven't really got a gaffer we just sort it between ourselves really.
